Great for Independent Learners and Creative Spirits
La Casa dei Bambini is more than simply a school. It is a community dedicated to providing children with the best foundation to prosper. The guides and all the parents support each other and are contributors to the success of La Casa.
Our daughter has been independently minded from the beginning, and the guide-led Montessori curriculum at La Casa has reinforced her self-sufficiency and helped her creativity blossom. She is exposed to classic Montessori activities, other cultures and languages, arts, sciences, and music.
We are proud to be a part of the La Casa Community!

Holistic Education That Nurtures Emotional and Academic Growth
When our son was young we worked from home and therefore had the opportunity to spend a majority of our time helping him develop and grow in the ways we wished.
When he turned two we wanted to find an environment for our son that stood out from the crowd and La Casa fit the bill. They offered things we did not even know were available: hands-on-teaching, small classes, gardening, and more “advanced” lessons in mathematics/geography/reading, Spanish, and music. Along with this, they emphasized the concept of joyful giving.
Beyond the school curriculum, Gabe has learned to be accountable, be proud of his accomplishments, love his friends, respect others, and become a great gardener.
This is the start of Gabe’s 3rd year and everyday we see him growing academically – in reading, writing, spelling, geographic knowledge, and mathematical skills.
From day one we felt that La Casa was the smartest choice for Gabe’s advancement and now, after three years, we know it!

A Strong Community that Fosters Friendships
Before we started at La Casa, Preston was in a Mother’s Day Out program as well as a preschool. We were very happy with both of these locations but felt as though he would do better in a more structured atmosphere. We were familiar with Montessori and knew that it would be a great fit for him.
Since attending La Casa, we’ve watched Preston become even more helpful and caring than he already was. He loves helping out the younger kids and “babies” at school! He also enjoys spending time alone at home working on projects and doing independent work.
The parental involvement aspect of the school is great because we know that the friendships that have been made at La Casa will continue on even after Preston has moved on to public school.

Commuting to La Casa Worth the Time
Although we live in San Marcos, we are willing to drive to Kyle daily so our daughter can attend La Casa. We chose La Casa because of the incredibly dedicated guides and because of the attention paid to the development of the whole self (instead of just pure cognitive ability). It is truly a holistic learning environment.
Our daughter, Andie, is a more confident, out-going, disciplined, and curious child since beginning school at La Casa. We constantly see her thriving in this environment.
One aspect of the school that we love is the parent involvement – it is a must at La Casa. The school mission is to create a school community and we love getting the chance to be a part of such a fun, lively, and intellectual “family.”

Confident and Socially Thriving
I have 2 children that have attended school at La Casa and both are flourishing! They are well-rounded, social individuals that can speak to an audience, teach others about culture, and value their relationships (both with their friends and teachers). These traits are directly related to their experience at La Casa.
As a Montessori child myself, I understood the value of the education that La Casa dei Bambini Kyle Montessori School could provide for my children. What I didn’t know was that they would become an extension of my family. This is not simply a school where children learn language, math, reading, and geography- it is so MUCH more! This school has a very special place in my heart! Chiquie, Tonico, Carlos, Vanessa and Marybel have become our family!
