Started in 2002 in downtown Kyle, La Casa dei Bambini is the area’s most established Montessori school and early childhood center serving children from 2.5 to 6 years old. Although many parents choose La Casa dei Bambini because it is a Montessori School, many parents choose La Casa simply because it provides a holistic, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
A Little About the School
The owner and lead Montessori facilitator, Chiquie Estrada, is a AMI certified instructor with 40 years of Montessori experience. The Montessori format allows children to master their environment through independent, self-directed learning so our students are able to explore the topics that interest them the most.
Along with developmental and academic topics, children are exposed to a rich, genuine musical program led by a professional musician who is one of the school founder and has 25 years experience working with young children (45 years as a professional musician). In addition, children learn to respect and care for the earth through horticulture and earth-friendly activities. To find out more about a typical day at our school, click here.
Our school is located in downtown Kyle, right off of I-35, and near Seton Medical Center. We are open early and late and our calendar runs from late August to mid-July so that we can accommodate work schedules and accelerate learning. During holidays and summer break, we have a fantastic summer camp that is open to current and former students.
